I'm just saying...

God is Dead – Nietzsche

1) A University of Toronto sponsored dig finds a cache concealing tens of thousands of artifacts in Turkey. This will provide unprecedented insight in the area’s events from 3000 years ago. (Link)

2) CNN presents us with a fascinating timeline in the history of pickles. And no, it is not a slow news day. (Link)

3)The website Wonders and Marvels gives a portrait of seventeenth-century secret service agents. It must have been a little harder to be James Bond with a powdered wig, a touch of makeup and cholera. (Link)

4) The BBC chronicles the auctioning of a 50 year-old bottle of whiskey. Divine, golden whiskey… (Link)

4) Plaguewatch 09: Fine, the plague is either dying down or the Chinese government has simply “sanitized” the area with flamethrowers. We will have to wait for another health panic. Back to Swine Flu.

And as for the lighter side: Cracked.com’s “Five World Leaders Who Were Accused of Being the Antichrist”. I would personally accuse Pope Benedict XVI of looking like Emperor Palpatine but that’s something else. (Link)

End.
