1) The BBC challenges us with a quiz called “7 questions about British battles” – perhaps these were harder before Wikipedia… (Link)

2) Looking for clues and revelation, archaeologists have meticulously pulled a tooth from a 4,000-year-old Egyptian Mummy. DNA pulp is the sought treasure yet ghoulish nightmares may be the unforeseen consequence. (Link)

3) Atlantis found? – The underwater Bronze Age “city” of Pavlopetri off the coast of Greece continuously offers up priceless artefacts through painstaking excavation. No flying cars yet. (Link)

AND AS FOR THE LIGHTER SIDE: Cracked.com’s “Nuke the Moon: 5 Certifiably Insane Cold War projects” – An army of psychics couldn’t hurt, could it? (Link)

End.
